Sail Away Weekend Adventures

You have free time for the weekend and you want a coastal sail? Join one of our weekend coastal cruises aboard a comfortable 42’ sailboat.

  • Sail to Block Island or Cuttyhunk
  • Guided with one professional skipper
  • Perfect mix of skill building and pure enjoyment
  • No test, no pressure, just fun
  • You need ASA 101 to enroll

We sail to give you a real cruising experience while sharpening your skills at the helm, on deck, and even in the galley.

How does Sailing Weekends work?

This isn’t a charter—it’s a learning experience. As a sailing school, we welcome you aboard as an active crewmember, not just a passenger.

  • Participate in decision making and navigation
  • Lend a hand in the galley

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Absolutely, diesel engines are very similar between sailboats and powerboats so the class covers all topics for both.

Yes. The class goal is to allow you to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting. The instructor will ask you questions and you will have to find a solution by dismantling a part of the engine.

the instructor will review the best practice for your winterization. Once you understand how the engine works, the winterization will become obvious. You will also be able to ask questions to the instructor and to your fellow students who can share their experiences.
